The Maternal AI Assistant is a Ghana-focused multilingual AI companion for pregnant women. It tracks your pregnancy week-by-week, sends medication and antenatal reminders, provides personalized nutrition guidance, alerts you to high-risk signs, helps you prepare for delivery, and in emergencies, locates the nearest hospital with available delivery beds. It supports English, Twi, Hausa, Ga, and Ewe.

Hospitals register through the HealthPass Hospital Portal by providing their facility details, NHIA accreditation number, Ghana Health Service code, and admin credentials. After verification, the admin sets up departments, staff roles, ward capacities, blood bank data, and ambulance details. The hospital then goes live and can scan patient QR codes immediately.

Absolutely. HealthPass uses Supabase for secure, encrypted data storage with row-level security policies. Patient data is only accessible during active hospital sessions initiated by the patient's QR scan. Sessions can be burned or expired by the patient at any time. We follow strict data privacy standards aligned with Ghana's Data Protection Act.

HealthPass supports five languages to ensure no Ghanaian is left behind: English, Twi, Hausa, Ga, and Ewe. Both the Maternal AI Assistant and the General Health AI Assistant can communicate with patients in their preferred language, including voice-based guidance through Whisper Speech AI and Kaya AI translation.

When a maternal emergency occurs, the patient or caregiver inputs symptoms (contractions, bleeding, water breaking) into the app. HealthPass automatically scans nearby hospitals for available delivery beds, checks maternity ward capacity, sends alerts to hospitals, requests an ambulance, and generates the fastest emergency route — all in real time.

Pharmart is HealthPass's online medication marketplace. Patients can scan nearby pharmacies, check medication availability and prices, upload prescriptions digitally, order medications online, schedule home deliveries, and buy healthcare products — all from the HealthPass app. Pharmacies manage inventory, process orders, and track deliveries through the Pharmacy Web Portal.
